Many Catholic country churches in Ireland date back to the 19th century. Most of them were characterized by an architectural simplicity, having very few decorative elements in the architecture.
The front of the organ, of neogothic inspiration, consists of three parts whose style is in perfect harmony with that of the windows within the niche behind the organ.
The tonal conception is classical with a principalplenum and accompanimental stops on the Great Organ and Flute stops on the Choir. The pedal with its 16' flue stop it restricted to a supporting function in the bass. Even though this organ mainly aims at fulfilling liturgical tasks it is also very well suited for the performance in concerts.
