This project aimed for the construction of a sizeable organ in the Rhineland baroque style inspired after the work of the König family, with 36 stops played from two manual divisions Great and Positif de Socle, and independent Pedal. The case design may be regarded as a reinterpretation of the baroque style.
This instrument shall not only embellish the service with divine music but it shall also serve as a prominent lever of the cultural life in Belgian Limburg. The organ has been installed on a new gallery in 2009-2010 as the result of collegiate work between the Schumacher and the Nijs & Zonen Companies.
